C'est le premier jour d'école pour un élève de première année qui est non-verbal, qui a des besoins d'apprentissage cognitifs et physiques complexes et un PEI qui inclut « sourd-aveugle » dans sa description. Par où commencer ? Dans le cadre d’un essai qui a débuté en mai 2015, Bridges a installé des systèmes de reconnaissance oculaire dans plusieurs classes d’écoles de la région de Toronto. Il s’agissait de classes destinées aux élèves ayant des besoins spéciaux dans des écoles qui offraient un soutien accru aux élèves ayant des besoins pédagogiques plus complexes.
