Kurzweil web subscription/firefly adds Google Drive supports and more
Kurzweil 3000 firefly, the reading tool that comes with the web licence subscription version of K3000, has now added direct access to Google Drive.
One click gets you direct access to documents saved in Google Drive. A great feature for the many schools and school districts who have implemented Google Apps for Education (GAFE) or Google Drive to share curricular documents. Firefly will open and read Kurzweil 3000 documents, Google docs, word files and even PDFs.
Access to Google Drive in firefly is in addition to access to your local computer for direct upload and Kurzweil's own included cloud storage tool, the Universal library. Another neat feature that Kurzweil recently added is notes created in Kurzweil 3000 on a kesi document are now visible and readable in firefly. Both sticky's and text notes are now read -- a great way to embed instruction directly into the text. If you'd like a demo or to trial the web license give us a shout here at Bridges.
