These sessions are the practical launch point your team needs to take full advantage of the personalized literacy supports in Clicker, and to learn how to apply this powerful tool to whole class instruction, too.
These sessions support educators who are new to Clicker or who haven’t used Clicker recently. Each session builds upon the skills explored during the previous session, so educators can develop their comfort in small chunks.

In this introduction to Clicker 8, educators new to Clicker will learn how to use features to support reading and the writing process across curriculum topics.

Clicker supports the stages of the writing process, from planning to publishing, fostering success in early writers. In this session educators will learn how to incorporate writing instruction best practice with Clicker for developing early writing skills.

In this session we’ll delve into strategies to support emergent and early conventional readers. We will demonstrate how Clicker supports both shared Reading and Text Comprehension Activities, along with strategies and activities to develop vocabulary and background knowledge.

Alternative access is built-in to all aspects of Clicker. Powerful, yet easy to customize for the individual learning experience, these tools can be a game changer for students with complex physical, sensory or cognitive learning challenges, including those who require the use of switches, joystick or eye gaze.
Participants will be encouraged to bring their own student profiles to adapt the user preferences in Clicker to address individual needs. This practical session will give participants an understanding of how to use features in Clicker to customize the experience for specific users and ensure access to reading and writing in a variety of curriculum areas.
